Role: QA Intern
Experience: 6 to 18 Months
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
Work Location: Hyderabad
Start Date: 16th November 2023
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior QA engineers to assist in test planning activities, including identifying test objectives and designing test cases.
- Execute test cases, document test results, and report defects using industry-standard bug tracking tools.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium or other automation frameworks.
- Log and track defects, work closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution, and perform regression testing.
- Create and manage test data required for testing activities.
- Assist in performance testing activities, including load testing and identifying performance bottlenecks.
- Maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test execution reports.
- Continuously learn and stay updated on automation testing best practices and emerging technologies.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers.
- Ensure adherence to quality assurance processes and standards throughout the software development lifecycle.
Techolution Internship drive – Mandatory Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
- 3 to 6 months of experience in manual testing, including test case design and execution.
- Familiarity with operating systems, web browsers, and common software tools.
- Basic knowledge of defect tracking and test case management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Java
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of version control systems, preferably Git.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to adapt to evolving project requirements and priorities.
