Basic Accountability:

“Accountable for all of the Quality Assurance deliverable including thoughtful development of test strategies, test scenarios and test cases for all phases of testing. Builds and/ or recommends appropriate test automation where needed.”

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Embraces changes and successfully leads non associates for each project
• Manages and leads test strategies across multiple projects
• Builds strong relationship with IT and across business teams
• Ensure sufficient test coverage for all projects typically small to large projects in complexity
• Complete understanding of at least 2 applications including architecture

What You’ll Bring:

Able to design and perform test execution on all tests if needed
Implements necessary test processes on projects, writes test plans, procedures and scripts, analyzes test results; actively recommends process improvements for supported projects
Provides as a ‘risk owner’- communicates and provides documentation throughout the project lifecycle highlighting potential risks and mitigation plans
Remains educated on the full suite of test tools, processes and artifacts
Able to provide constructive feedback to testers both formally and informally
Implements a risk based testing strategy to ensure production meets customer expectation
On time delivery with meaningful milestones
Responsible for identifying Root cause on production issues and implements preventative measures

Impact You’ll Make:

Knowledge of Agile and/ or Waterfall methodologies
Experience with test automation
Strong use of MS office and test management systems (HP, ALM, JIRA, TFS, IBM, Rational suite)
Ability to communicate to all levels of leadership
Ability to identify and mitigate risks
Demonstrated success with delivering on time with quality
Adapts quickly to new technologies and processes
