Luxoft QA Automation Engineer Hiring details 

Project Overview:

Join a high-impact project focused on regulatory reporting for a leading investment banking client. The existing solution, built on Windows, Linux/Unix, and .NET technologies, is being integrated with a new umbrella system designed for high-volume data archiving.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with global teams based in Wroclaw and Zurich, with a strong emphasis on autonomy, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Work as part of a Scrum team to support development and migration tasks

• Execute end-to-end migration testing in UAT

• Perform manual validation, including regression and new feature testing

• Develop, review, and execute manual and automated test cases

• Create and manage test evidence, report defects using Jira

• Collaborate with Business Analysts (BAs) to analyze requirements and derive test scenarios

• Analyze and prepare test data in collaboration with developers

• Investigate UAT issues and coordinate with vendors and dev teams for deeper analysis

Must-Have Skills:

• 6+ years of QA experience

• Strong hands-on experience in Automation Testing with Java

• Proficiency in Maven, Selenium, Cucumber, and API testing

• Experience running UAT migration tests

• Knowledge of test documentation, execution, and defect management tools (e.g., Jira)

• Ability to work closely with BAs and developers to ensure test coverage

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience working in Agile frameworks

• Background in Banking or Financial Services
