Responsibilities
- Learn and understand scripting functions to develop a clear, detailed understanding of product testing requirements
- Execution of various test processes in software packaging & deployment (function, platform, mass test, completeness test, network connection test, etc.)
- Work with leads and other team members to set testing priorities, estimate effort, and track and report on progress
- Write test plans, test cases and use cases to be used for testing, and other documentation as needed
- Prepare the test environment and test data
- Run script and software tests
- Summarize test results in clear and concise reports
- Create, resolve, and track tickets for any functionality, usability, performance, reliability, and stability issues
- Work with application administrators to ensure that any functional issues uncovered during testing are identified and corrected.
Requirements
- Education in Information Technology or equivalent working experience
- Experience (1.5+ years) as a software tester for Windows 10 applications
- Experience with scripting languages, software packaging and deployment, CMD & Powershell is a plus.
- Very good Windows 10 knowledge.
- Very good knowledge of Windows 10 folder structures & permissions, registry and settings
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Good multitasking ability, analytical and problem-solving skills independently
- English fluency in writing and speaking
- Readiness to travel, if needed
