- Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka
What you will do:
- Test Strategy and Planning:
- Collaborate with the development team to define test objectives, strategies, and test plans.
- Develop and maintain test documentation, including test cases, test scripts, and test data.
- Identify and prioritize test scenarios and cases for automation.
- Automation and Tools:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks, tools, and scripts.
- Implement and execute automated tests for regression, functional, and performance testing.
- Integrate automated tests into the continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipeline.
- Bug Tracking and Reporting:
- Identify and report defects using a standardized bug tracking system.
- Collaborate with the development team to isolate, debug, and resolve issues.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Stay up to date with industry best practices in testing and test automation.
- Propose and implement improvements to testing processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Collaboration, Communication and Mentoring:
- Collaborate closely with software developers, product managers, and quality assurance team members to ensure product quality.
- Communicate test results, progress, and issues effectively to stakeholders.
- Mentor junior Software Development Testing Engineers.
Who you are:
- Based out of Bangalore and Work From Bangalore Office
- Worked for a startup (Fintech preferred) for at-least 1-2 years (last work exp at a startup preferred)
- Experience working with both Android & iOS platforms for mobile native application testing automation
- Experience with frameworks – Vitest, Appium, Selenium, TestNG, Junit, Cucumber
- Working knowledge of REST based API endpoint with JSON/XML
- Experience working with manual testing of RESTful APIs using tools such as Postman or Insomnia
- Experience with BrowserStack App Automate, Firebase Test Lab, Firebase Analytics, Google Analytics, and Crashlytics
