YOU WILL:

- Work as a part of a cross-functional, passionate agile project team to ensure quality is driven into the heart of the development process from requirements definition through to delivery.
- Contributing towards smooth and quality release.
- Lead the integration of the components delivered from the development teams.
- Proactively bringing issues and problems to the attention of the team
- Maintain company-defined and industry-standard best practices.
- Be meticulous about documenting and maintaining the test cases and test results and preparing test reports.
- Ensure that all tests are executed and give regular feedback to the team lead on the status of the quality.
- Work closely with the software engineering team, product management, and technical operations as well as business users and Senior Management as required.
- Be a critical thinker who can quickly identify and test for functional ‘edge cases’ outside of the expected functionality workflow.
- Overseeing the drafting of testing documents.
- Troubleshooting quality issues/Bugs and working closely with the team to analyze the root cause.

PREREQUISITES:

- A strong background, and at least 5 years of working experience in manual testing of web applications. Thorough understanding of SDLC, especially QA processes and agile development environments.
- Experience in writing, executing test cases, and maintaining and updating test cases.
- Experience with software development tools and defect tracking systems such as JIRA, POSTMAN, etc.
- Experience driving cross-teams, such as developers for technical discussions on debugging and defect resolution.
- Good experience in integration, functional, System, Sanity, Regression, Acceptance, GUI, and Usability testing.
- Experience in API testing and Database testing will be an added advantage.
- Experience in the implementation of continuous integration, integration of build tools will be an added advantage.
- Understanding of coding enterprise applications within PHP, Javascript, AngularJS and other languages will be added advantage.
