As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Consumer and community banking- JP Wealth Management, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm’s business objectives.
Job responsibilities
- Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems
- Strong drive to pick up and understand the Product in detail.
- Maintenance and Enhancement of Automation suite and working with team on failures and fixes
- Driving mobile device ADA testing to ensure our ADA coverage is robust.
- Communication and collaboration with downstream testing teams and processes
- Supporting scrum teams with data, testing and environment issues
- Advanced knowledge of software lifecycles and test automation strategies
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience
- Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
- Proficient in coding in one or more languages
- Formal training, or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience.
- Proven ability to write automated tests and good understanding of framework.
- Well-versed in analysis and debugging automation scripts
- Detailed understanding of common defect and data management tools
- Experience working effectively with teams and stakeholders to develop relationships and achieve common goals
- Proficiency in a business function and some understanding of the broader business context
- ADA testing experience or certification a strong plus.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Having worked in the Banking or Financial domain
- Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber, BDD
- Core Java
- Understanding of accessibility testing best practices
