Role Summary
- Automation development and testing of requirements in HIL/SIL test environments
- Develop/Maintain the automation framework for testing of Control functions of Various ECU
- Maintaining customer requirements for the EV Vehicle.
Key Responsibilities
The HIL V&V engineer works closely with the controller test engineers and simulation engineers to develop the automation to verify the Product requirements. The position requires an individual with a passion for python coding, knowledge of HIL testing and a demonstrated capability for managing a wide variety of technical and customer needs. A balance of technical skills and project leadership skills is critical. Additional responsibilities include:
- Gather requirements, schedule, and manage HIL Execution activities
- Create, maintain, and improve HIL automation scripts as per the Requirements
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- Develop and run automated test suites for various Controls requirements
- Strong background in developing test automation solutions based on the keyword-based testing approach.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical or Electronics or Instrumentation or Controls Engineering)
- Having at least 3 years of experience
- Experience with Automotive embedded software Testing is preferred
- Knowledge of software testing or quality assurance methodologies
Required Skills
- Strong scripting skills in python is a mandatory requirement
- Requirements analysis for test
- Strong working experience with Hardware in Loop testing
- Working experience with Vector/dSPACE/NI HIL benches
- Knowledge of SW Test Automation (dSPACE: ControlDesk, Configuration Desk, AutomationDesk or similar)
- Experience in automotive communication protocols CAN / LIN and UDS
- Knowledge of Diagnostic Tools like vector CANalyzer, Canoe,CANALYZER
- Basic knowledge of MATLAB and Simulink
- Understanding of ASAM, ISO26262 standards
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence, SVN and Gitlab.
- ISTQB Certification is an advantage
- Work experience in Requirment tools like Polarion,Doors
- Experience in Vehicle function validation
- Experience in ECU Network Testing and ECU Diagnostic Testing
- Experience in Electrical, Model, Network and project troubleshooting
- Experience in Test Cases development and maintenance
