Description
The Quality Test Automation Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test plans and cases for software applications. The Automation Engineer will work closely with the development team to identify test scenarios and ensure that quality is built into the software development process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute automated test plans and cases that validate the quality and functionality of software applications.
- Collaborate with development teams to identify test scenarios and create test cases that cover all aspects of the application.
- Develop and maintain automation frameworks and test scripts using programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
- Execute automation tests and analyze results to identify defects and performance issues.
- Develop and maintain test data and test environments to support automation testing.
- Work closely with the development team to identify and troubleshoot issues and defects.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve the quality of the code.
- Continuously improve the automation test suite to ensure maximum test coverage and efficiency.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in test automation.

Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in software quality assurance and test automation.
- Strong programming skills and experience in automation frameworks and test scripting using Java, Python and Java Script.
- Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or Cucumber.
- Experience with API testing and tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
