Resideo is currently seeking a Test Engineer to work in our engineering organization that supports Security business. The Test Engineer will report to the Project lead and will be responsible to test and Qualify the Security domain software products with IoT / connected hardware devices using both Automated and Manual tests.
RESIDEO CAREERS – JOB DUTIES:
- Web, API, and Mobile Application testing through Manual and Automation approach using defined framework.
- Shall have the ability to create and maintain automation test scripts.
- Work within the Agile scrum team to build the quality along with development team.
- Develop automation scripts for stories during development & executes and maintain them to reduce cycle time and improve quality.
- Shall be executing the automation scripts, analyze the failed teat cases and fix them if needed.
- Develop test cases and test environment for web applications aligning to scrum model of development.
- Shall be responsible for executing the Functional & Use case scenario tests at the system level.
- Shall Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Follow SDLC process and use Automation initiative wherever applicable.
RESIDEO CAREERS – YOU MUST HAVE:
- BE/BTech in Computer Science/Electronics/Electrical Engineering
- Total 2-5 years of work experience in API/ Cloud Test/ Web application / mobile
WE VALUE:
- Work experience in API/ Cloud Test/ Web application / mobile Automation testing of software products using Selenium, C#. or Java
- Experience in Automation scripting and framework design using /Java/C#
- Experience in manual test design/test plan, use cases development.
- Having manual testing experience in cloud-based applications.
- Clear understanding of test process. Understands processes and products in multiple areas.
- Should have Good Troubleshooting/analytical skills.
- Capable of Solving clearly defined problems that are not limited to assignment work area.
- IOT, Home automation /intrusion domain background is preferable.
- Good oral and written communication skills
