Roles & Responsibilities

1. Review and analyze system specifications
2. Identify trends and patterns within large sets of data and internal applications
3. Collaborate with QA engineers to develop effective strategies and test plans
4. Perform R&D for open-source technologies to be utilized
5. Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results
6. Identify areas of improvement from a QA perspective and follow up with solutions
7. Create logs to document testing phases and defects
8. Report bugs and errors to development teams
9. Help in documenting the QA processes and test plans and scenarios
10. Define specific tests, design test cases, schedule test execution
11. Compare actual and expected results, checking whether a product meets the requirements.
12. Address and discuss issues and proposed solutions with superiors.
13. Managing client inquiries via phone, email, and online meetings.

Pre-requisites

1. He/She should be available full-time (in-office) in Bengaluru.
2. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a similar field.
3. Working knowledge of tools, methods, and concepts of quality assurance.
4. Excellent analytical skills.
5. Detailed knowledge of application functions, bug fixing, and testing protocols.
6. Excellent communication skills since they need to deliver vital information to different teams involved in the production process.
