About the Role:

Clarivate Technologies is seeking a skilled QA Engineer with a strong background in automation testing using Selenium and Java. The ideal candidate will also have hands-on experience in API testing, performance testing, and working with databases.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and execute automated tests
Debug and fix existing automated test cases
Execute and maintain manual test scripts when needed
Use bug tracking and reporting tools effectively
Communicate test progress, results, and issues to leadership/stakeholders
Configure regression frameworks for different environments
Ensure GxP compliance through periodic application validations
Collaborate closely with software engineers, product managers, and project teams
Contribute to GxP documentation as required

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
2+ years of experience in software testing and QA
Proficient in Java, Selenium, API Testing, Cucumber, Robot Framework, TypeScript
Hands-on experience in performance testing
Familiarity with databases like MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL
Understanding of BDD methodologies
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Knowledge of software development lifecycle and QA best practices

Nice to Have:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Experience working in regulated or GxP environments

You’ll be part of the Incites B&A Development Team, comprising multiple squads focused on everything from UI/API development to enhancing data quality and optimizing performance.
