Job Description
- We are looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) engineer to develop and execute exploratory and
- automated tests to ensure product quality.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting tests before product launches to ensure
- software runs smoothly and meets client needs while being cost-effective. If you hold an
- engineering background and enjoy providing end-to-end solutions to software quality problems, we’d like to meet you.
Roles and Responsibilities
● Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
● Monitor risk-management procedures, and maintain and analyze problem logs to identify and report recurring issues to management and product development
● Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
● Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
● Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
● Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions
● Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
● Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.
Required Skills:
· Minimum 2-5 years of software/application testing
· Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology and how QA functions within it
· Demonstrated experience conducting end-to-end testing of large or complex products
· Demonstrated experience writing and executing test plans and test scripts
· Proficient with Atlassian suite (Trello) and GitHub products
· Knowledge of Java, JavaScript, SQL, API & Performance Testing.
· Experience with Swagger or Postman.
· Good to have experience in Automation testing (Selenium+JAVA)
· Experience on End to End Mobile Device testing & Appium tool.
Educational and Experience Requirements:
· Bachelor’s or relevant Computer Science degree
· Professional certification, such as Six Sigma, Quality Engineer, or Quality Auditor
· Superb computer competence, including database management
· Knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools
· Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
· Demonstrated knowledge of testing best practices, version control practices and defect management practice
