Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand test requirements and design test cases accordingly.
• Author test plans based on business requirements and functional specifications.
• Implement Wipro’s Model-Based Testing for efficient test case generation.
• Collaborate with the development team to capture and maintain test cases.
• Define test scope, criteria, and involvement in User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Automate test lifecycle processes using VB macros, scheduling, and GUI automation.
• Develop automation frameworks and execute automated test cases.
• Identify defects, document issues, and track resolution.
• Deliver test status reports and dashboards at the end of each test cycle.
• Ensure all work adheres to project SLAs and Wipro/customer norms.

Technical Skills Required:

• Automation Frameworks: Java, Selenium, TestNG, RestAssured, Maven, GIT
• Testing Areas: Manual, Integration, Regression, Smoke Testing
• API Testing: Experience testing REST APIs
• Messaging Systems: Exposure to messaging technologies
• CI/CD Tools: Jenkins, Sonar, Chef (desirable)
• Cloud Technologies: Experience testing cloud-deployed applications (PCF preferred)
• Monitoring Tools: Splunk, Dynatrace (desirable)
• Agile Tools: Rally/JIRA experience
• Operating Systems: Exposure to UNIX systems

Customer Interaction & Reporting:

• Ensure high-quality communication with customers regarding test execution and defect tracking.
• Provide test execution reports and maintain accurate project tracking records.
• Ensure timely response to customer requests and maintain a high standard of service.
