REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience: 1-5 years
- Must Have skills: API Testing (Strong), Mobile Testing, Postman, Rest Assured
- Proficient in test case authoring, defect management, and test execution
- Knowledge of STLC phases and best practices
- Experience in API testing using tools like Postman or SoapUI
- Familiarity with test management tools like JIRA, QAComplete, IBM Rational Quality Manager, or Micro Focus ALM
- Analysing the requirements from a testing point of view and identifying testable requirements.
- Creating and executing test cases based on the requirements and test plan.
- Setting up and maintaining the test environment where testing is supposed to be carried out.
- Performing different types of testing such as functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, system testing, user acceptance testing, etc.
- Performing API testing using tools like Postman or SoapUI.
- Following the software testing life cycle (STLC) phases and adhering to the entry and exit criteria for each phase.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Understanding functional requirements thoroughly and analysing the client’s needs in the context of the project.
- Envisioning the overall solution for defined functional and non-functional requirements, and being able to define technologies, patterns, and frameworks to realize it.
- Determining and implementing design methodologies and tool sets
- Enabling application development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities.
- Being able to lead/support UAT and production roll outs.
- Creating, understanding, and validating WBS and estimated effort for given module/task, and being able to justify it.
- Addressing issues promptly, responding positively to setbacks and challenges with a mindset of continuous improvement
- Giving constructive feedback to the team members and setting clear expectations.
- Helping the team in troubleshooting and resolving of complex bugs
